Bakers make use of their knowledge of food preparation and ingredients to develop recipes and baked products. They mix and measure raw ingredients bake, and then decorate and bake products, and make sure that the raw and final items meet the highest standards for food safety and quality.

We are looking for talented creative and innovative Bakers who will strive to offer top-quality baked goods and services in a timely professional and efficient manner. The Baker will develop, implement recipes and make improvements as well as perform quality tests on the ingredients and final products Use glazes, icings or fillings as well as decorations to increase the appearance of the item and take requests from clients. They will also greet customers and answer their questions, tidy workspaces and equipment and carry out other tasks to ensure that customers are met and that the bakery is properly stocked and running efficiently. Anyone legally working in Canada is eligible to apply for this position. If you’re not legally able to work within Canada the employer will not be able to consider your application for employment.

For a successful Baker, You must be efficient and pleasant with an eye on the quality of food and satisfaction of customers. You must be organized, focused, and attentive. You should also have an excellent knowledge of baking methods.

Secondary (high) school certificate of graduation


Seven months up to one year

Baker Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Excellent communication skills ability, time and resource management, and planning abilities.

Attention to detail, particularly when it comes to quality inspections of products and ingredients.

The ability to work in a team or with colleagues to resolve problems, set schedules, meet orders, and bake amazing products.

Flexibility to meet customer needs, including early morning, late night weekend, holidays.

Working in heat, crowded atmosphere and stand, walk and bend, work with appliances and hands, and carry heavy objects for long durations.

Specific Skills

Create special orders

Decorate cakes with frosting as well as baked products

Verify that the quality of the products is in line with established standards.

Make production schedules.

Bake batters and mix dough.

Make the dough for pies rolls, bread, rolls, and sweets muffins, batters for muffins cakes, and cookies as well as frostings and icings in accordance with recipes or special requests from customers.

Training staff on preparation of food, cooking, and handling of food items

Make an inquiry or purchase equipment, materials, or equipment

Make dishes for customers who have food allergies or intolerances.
